Hey there! I’m Olivia Allen-Price and I’m the creator, host and senior editor of KQED’s award-winning Bay Curious podcast. I’m also the author of a book, based on the podcast, set to publish in May 2023.

Before I joined KQED (and fell head over heals for audio journalism) I worked in newspapers — at The Baltimore Sun and The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Va. I hold degrees in journalism and political science from Elon University in North Carolina.

When not working, I love running on the roads and trails around the San Francisco Bay Area, taking weekend trips around California, skiing, making fancy cocktails and, above all, spending time with my friends and family. I don’t have a dog, but I would really like to pet yours.
